Payment may be “wired” from your bank account to our bank. All funds must be in US Dollars. Buyer pays transfer fees, if applicable. If you plan to wire funds, please contact us for additional instructions.

30-Day Money Back Guarantee

If you acquire a product directly from Red Wine Audio, and for any reason you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within the 30-day trial period for a refund. The trial period begins the day your product is delivered to your shipping address. The following terms and conditions apply:

  1. “Trade-up” sales cannot be returned for refund under our “30-Day Money Back Guarantee.” Red Wine Audio components purchased off our Special Deals Page are covered under our “30-Day Money Back Guarantee.”

  2. Renaissance Edition upgrades cannot be returned for refund under our “30-Day Money Back Guarantee.”

  3. Modified units (iMod, for example) cannot be returned for refund under our “30-Day Money Back Guarantee.”

  4. Call (774) 234-0800 or send an e-mail to obtain Return Authorization.

  5. Pack the product in its original box. If you do not have the original box, please let us know when you contact us.

  6. Returned products must be in “like-new” condition. All original accessories and factory packaging must be included, complete with unmarked manuals. Components that have been damaged due to misuse or negligence will be assessed a fee in order to restore the unit to “like-new” condition. Red Wine Audio reserves the right to deduct this fee from your refund.

  7. Use a package-shipping service such as United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express or the United States Postal Service, that is able to track your shipment.

  8. Insure the product for your original purchase price.

    In the event your product is lost or damaged in transit to Red Wine Audio, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the Shipper. If the product can be repaired, Red Wine Audio will provide a quote for repair costs, and issue your refund less applicable repair costs. In the event of loss or damage to returned products, you are responsible for obtaining reimbursement for the insured product from your Shipper.

You are responsible for return shipping cost. After we receive your returned product, it will be inspected and we will issue a refund check within 7 business days. Refunds do not include original shipping costs or PayPal fees, if applicable.

International Customers

Visit our Distributor Directory for an authorized dealer in your country. We are glad to sell factory-direct to customers in countries not represented by an authorized Red Wine Audio dealer.

Purchasing from our Dealers / Distributors

With the exception of our 10-year Limited Warranty for Renaissance Edition components, authorized dealers / distributors set their own terms of sale, including refund policy. These terms may vary from the terms outlined on this site. Dealers / Distributors also have the right set pricing to cover shipping costs, taxes, duties and exchange rates. Please ask your authorized Dealer/ Distributor about their terms of sale before making your purchase.

Limited Warranty

Red Wine Audio Renaissance Edition components are covered for 10-years for manufacturing-related defects (parts and labor included). Warranty extended to the original end-use purchaser or the original end-use person receiving the product as a gift, and shall not be extended to any other person or transferee.

The following items are excluded from, or will void warranty coverage:

  1. Damage to Red Wine Audio products caused by accident, misuse or abusive operation contrary to the instructions specified in the included owner's manual.

  2. Red Wine Audio products that have serial numbers that have been defaced, modified or removed.

  3. Damage to Red Wine Audio products resulting from a modification of, or attempted repair by any person or company not authorized by Red Wine Audio to make such modifications or repairs.

  4. Any Red Wine Audio product purchased from a non-authorized dealer.

  5. Damage to Red Wine Audio products caused in-transit, when Buyer is shipping their unit to Red Wine Audio.

  6. Batteries and vacuum tubes are not covered under the 10-year warranty. Batteries and vacuum tubes are however warranted to function properly when you receive your new Red Wine Audio product from Red Wine Audio and authorized dealers.

  7. Warranties for equipment modified by Red Wine Audio (iMod upgrades, for example) are limited to the modification work performed and any parts provided by Red Wine Audio. This warranty does not extend to the product being modified. For example, in the case of the iMod, Apple iPod’s battery, hard drive, LCD, etc., are not covered under Red Wine Audio’s Limited Warranty.

    Having a non-Red Wine Audio component (Apple iPod, for example) modified by Red Wine Audio voids the manufacture’s original warranty for that product.

  8. Red Wine Audio does not assume liability for loss of use or damage to associated or connected equipment.

Regarding Your Wood Enclosure

The Limited Warranty does not apply to damage arising from and specifically excludes any of the following:

  1. No two pieces of wood are the same, and color or other variations will occur. We do not guarantee against these natural variations, or the normal difference between photographs and the actual product(s).

  2. Natural wood characteristics such as mineral streaks, small knots, grain variations, etc., are normal and are not construed as defects.

  3. Prolonged exposure to excessive or inadequate humidity should be minimized. Optimal relative humidity in the area of use should be within 30% - 60%.

  4. Changes in color due to full or partial exposure to sunlight. For example, cherry may darken slightly due to sunlight exposure. This is a natural occurrence and is not covered by this warranty.

  5. Improper or Insufficient Protection, Care and Maintenance.

Warranty Repair Procedure

In the event a Red Wine Audio product needs warranty repair, you should:

  1. Contact us to obtain Return Authorization.

  2. Pack the product in its original box. If you do not have the original box, please let us know when you contact us.

  3. Use a package-shipping service such as United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express or the United States Postal Service, that is able to track your shipment.

  4. Insure the product for your original purchase price.

    In the event your product is lost or damaged in transit to Red Wine Audio, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the Shipper. Renaissance Edition Upgrade for Current RWA Customers

For both our domestic and international customers, please:

  1. Contact us to receive a price quotation including shipping and estimated lead-time.

  2. Upgrades are performed in the order in which they are received.

  3. Once your payment has been made, ship your unit as follows:

  • Pack the product in its original box. If you do not have the original box, please let us know when you contact us.

  • Use a package-shipping service that can track your shipment.We recommend United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express or the United States Postal Service.

  • Insure the product for your original purchase price. In the event your product is lost or damaged in transit to Red Wine Audio, it is your responsibility to file a claim with the Shipper. If the product can be repaired, Red Wine Audio will provide a quote. In the event of loss or damage to returned product, you are responsible for obtaining reimbursement for the insured product from your Shipper.

  • Ship package to: Red Wine Audio, 800 Main Street, Suite 125, Holden, MA 01520. You are responsible for return shipping costs. In the event your upgraded product is lost or damaged in transit to your “ship-to” address, Red Wine Audio will be responsible to file the claim with our Shipper.

  • We will contact you when your Renaissance Edition upgrade is completed and shipped back to you.

Renaissance Edition Upgrade Warranty

  • If you are the original owner: New 10-year warranty (see Limited Warranty for details)

  • If you are a secondhand owner: 90-day warranty on entire component; 10-year warranty on Renaissance Edition modifications (see Limited Warranty for details)
